NAI Carolantic Brokers Receive TCAR Elite Awards

Four NAI Carolantic Realty brokers received awards at the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR) annual Elite Awards event held on February 27th at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. The event recognizes members that lead the real estate industry as well as those bringing about change in the community.

Jimmy Barnes, SIOR; Robin Roseberry Anders, SIOR; and John Hibbits received the 2018 Elite Office Leasing Award. To qualify, brokers must meet two of the three qualifying standards to include: A minimum of ten lease transactions; a minimum of 100,000 total square feet; and/or a minimum of $5 million in transaction volume..

Ed Brown, SIOR, CCIM received the 2018 Elite Industrial Leasing Award. To qualify, brokers must meet two of the three qualifying standards to include: A minimum of ten lease transactions; a minimum of 100,000 total square feet; and/or a minimum of $3 million in transaction volume.

Ed Brown, SIOR, CCIM and John Hibbits received the 2018 Elite Sales Award. To qualify, brokers must have a $10 million minimum in net sales dollar volume.

John Hibbits received the 2018 Elite Land Sales Award. To qualify, brokers must have a $5 million minimum net sales dollar volume.

Lifetime Million Dollar Club

Entrance into this club is determined by successfully meeting the Million Dollar Club requirements for five of the last seven years.

Hi-Wire and WillowTree to Expand their Footprints to the Historic Golden Belt Campus

LRC Properties, Hi-Wire Brewing and WillowTree Inc. join together in announcing that Hi-Wire Brewing and WillowTree Inc. have signed on to anchor the newly expanded, historic Golden Belt Campus located at 800 Taylor Street in Downtown Durham. Represented by NAI Carolantic Realty brokers Robin Roseberry Anders, SIOR and Jordan Williams, MBA, Golden Belt Campus is a 320,000 SF historic mill that once facilitated textile and tobacco operations and is the only remaining 1900’s era conversion opportunity of its kind in the area. LRC Properties purchased the Mill No.1 portion of the campus in 2016, and the remainder of the Golden Belt buildings in mid-2017, beginning a full-scale renovation of the former that summer. In addition to fully renovated brick and timber office spaces boasting large 40K SF floor plates, the renovation will include new artist’s studios and galleries, landscaped outdoor areas for tenant and neighborhood gatherings, and a music stage on the “Summer Stage Plaza” bordering Taylor Street.


Pairwise Establishes Headquarters in Durham, NC

Pairwise announced it has selected Durham, N.C., as its headquarters and will lease space on the Golgen Belt Campus in the heart of downtown. The move represents a commitment to growth in a region ripe with innovation and engagement in the agricultural technology industry. In the spring of 2019, the research and development team and executives will move to the location downtown, while additional team members will remtain in RTP at the plant growth and testing facilities.
