NAI Carolantic Realty Brokers Receive Prestigious TCAR Frontier Awards

RALEIGH, NC – March 1, 2016 – Nine NAI Carolantic brokers were presented with awards this morning at the 2016 Triangle Commercial Association of Realtor’s Annual President’s Frontier Awards breakfast. The TCAR event, held at Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, was established to recognize the diligent work and efforts of members as well as those bringing about change in the community.

Ed Brown, SIOR, CCIM was named as the 2015 Realtor of the Year in front of a crowd of over 150 professional brokers and guests. This is the highest honor given by the association and indicates the recipient has the highest principles, dedication to the Code of Ethics of the Association and most importantly, has the principals of good real estate practice. This person must also have served the association, have business accomplishments in the industry that include good business conduct, service to clients and creativity in marketing properties.

Kerry Saunders, Executive Vice President and COO of NAI Carolantic received the President’s Circle Award. This award is designed to give a special “Thanks” to a TCAR member for their continuing success and involvement in the industry and community. It is also intended to be a vehicle to convey to the public, the proud tradition of TCAR members’ contributions to the betterment of business and the community. Ms. Saunders was the 2012 TCAR President.

Million Dollar Sales Club
Jimmy Barnes, SIOR, Scott Hadley, Jake Plotkin, CCIM, and John Hibbits were recognized for membership into TCAR's 2016 Million Dollar Sales Club. Entrance into this club was determined by having a minimum sales volume of $7 million.

Million Dollar Land Sales Club
Scott Hadley and Moss Withers, MBA were recognized for membership into TCAR's 2016 Million Dollar Land Sales Club. Entrance into this club was determined by having a minimum sales volume of $5 million.

Million Dollar Office Leasing Club
Robin Roseberry Anders, SIOR was recognized for membership into TCAR's 2016 Million Dollar Office Leasing Club. Entrance into this club was determined by two of three factors: total leasing volume of $5 million or more, 10 or more transactions for the year and/or leases totaling a minimum of 100,000 rentable square feet.

Million Dollar Industrial Leasing Club
Ed Brown, SIOR, CCIM and Jake Plotkin, CCIM were recognized for membership into TCAR's 2016 Million Dollar Industrial Leasing Club. Entrance into this club was determined by two of three factors: total leasing volume of $3 million or more, 10 or more transactions for the year, and/or leases totaling a minimum of 100,000 rentable square feet.

Million Dollar Retail Leasing Club
Hunter Stewart, MBA and Joaquin Canals were recognized for membership into TCAR's 2016 Million Dollar Retail Leasing Club. Entrance into this club was determined by two of three factors: total leasing volume of $3 million or more, 10 or more transactions for the year, and/or leases totaling a minimum of 50,000 rentable square feet.

The following NAI Carolantic Brokers were recognized as having achieved the status of Lifetime Million Dollar Club for successfully meeting the Million Dollar Club requirements for five of the last seven years. They include:

  • Sales Club: Ed Brown, SIOR, CCIM
  • Land Sales Club: Steve Stroud, SIOR
  • Office Leasing: Robin Roseberry Anders, SIOR
